ChemetallOakite 498 DFW on ferrous and non-ferrous surfaces, a residual, micro-thin, nearly invisible film that guards metal against rust and oxidation between operations, in transit or during temporary storage. While resisting corrosion, the protective film doesn't interfere with subsequent operations. It's easily removed with an alkaline as recommended, Oakite 498 DFW is applicable on most metals including steel, stainless steel, zinc, copper, brass and magnesium. The emulsion detergent also may be used in properly agitated tanks.
